Dr. Martin Luther King Academic Middle School, commonly referred to as MLK is an American Middle School in San Francisco, California. ^[1] The current campus is currently located in Portola at 350 Girard Street. ^{[2] [3]} The school is named after civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. ^{[4] [5]}

Philosophy

The philosophy of the institution is to "cooperate, participate, communicate, work, and learn together in order to produce a harmonious, productive, pluralistic society of lifelong learners." Their self-proclaimed mission is to "ensure that all students realize their potential in academic, creative, physical, and social endeavors."
