In 1982, Anderson attended Rio Hondo College, after which he joined the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.[ citation needed] In 1992, Anderson lost his father, due to which he resigned.[ citation needed] During this challenging period, Anderson joined his friend's security business.[ citation needed]
In 1994, he established Anderson Management Systems, Inc., a regional service developer and provider of Parking Management, Enforcement, Facilities Management, and Security Services until its sale in 2007. [ citation needed]
After selling his company in 1997, Anderson continued to innovate and expand his software to cater to multi-family property management, the security industry, commercial properties, and service vendors.[ citation needed]
