Vertigo is an upcoming American psychological thriller film, written by Steven Knight. It is a modern remake of Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 film of the same name, which was based on Boileau-Narcejac's novel D'entre les morts (known in English as The Living and the Dead, or literally translated as From Among the Dead).
In March 2023, Paramount Pictures had acquired the rights for a modern day remake of Vertigo (1958), with Steven Knight writing the screenplay. Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan are producing the film through their production company Team Downey, with Downey Jr. eyed to star in the lead role. John Davis and John Fox serve as producers as well, through their Davis Entertainment company banner. [1]
