It follows the experiences of Tolka, a medical student from India who studied at Bogomolets National Medical University in Ukraine, and hares life journey amidst the Russian invasion of Ukraine and rescue through Operation Ganga done by Govt of India under guidance of PM Narendra Modi.
In the wake of the Russian invasion, Tolka's life is profoundly affected as he navigates a world disrupted by violence. Forced to flee Ukraine, Tolka embarks on a perilous journey in search of safety. Along the way, he encounters adversity and witnesses the devastating impact of war on individuals and communities.
Dr. Nitin Chopra, a physician and author from Madlauda ( Panipat) [6]drew inspiration for The Life of Tolka from his own experiences and observations during the Ukrainian invasion. He was Invited as a guest speaker at "Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas" at the Indian High Commission in Kyiv in 2016. [7]
