In 2018, she acted as president of the medical commission (CME) of the Pointe-à-Pitre University Hospital to defend the establishment's allegations of excess mortality. [3] In 2019, there wast a general strike . [4] During the covid-19 pandemic, she ensured the establishment of a care unit to treat patients. [5] She tested positive for covid-19 shortly thereafter. [6] She was replaced as the head of the CME in January 2021 . [7]
