Sevastiana (Greek: Σεβαστειανά) is a settlement of the Municipality of Skydra in the Prefecture of Pella. It is located 10.8 kilometers southeast of Edessa [1]. Its population amounts to 1,392 inhabitants ( 2011).

Most of the inhabitants are descendants of Pontian refugees, while there are many families from Asia Minor and several local families. The first Pontian refugees came to the village in 1914, while most came with the population exchange in 1922-1924. In 1924, with the Treaty of Lausanne, the Turks left the settlement. In 1925, from Vigeni or Vagiani, it was renamed to Sevastiana because most of the refugees came from the Sebastia (Turkey). Until the end of 1929, it was a settlement and belonged to the Community of Skydra. Since 1930 it has been a separate Community.

The modern settlement of Sevastiana has been linked by historians and scholars to two ancient cities of the Late Roman Era near Edessa with the names Euboia and Dausara [2].
