Ruknibera is a village located in Raghunathpur - II Block of Puruliya district, West Bengal with total 334 families residing. The Ruknibera village has population of 1663 of which 872 are males while 791 are females as per Population Census 2011. [1]

In Ruknibera village population of children with age 0-6 is 227 which makes up 13.65 % of total population of village. Average Sex Ratio of Ruknibera village is 907 which is lower than West Bengal state average of 950. Child Sex Ratio for the Ruknibera as per census is 816, lower than West Bengal average of 956.

Ruknibera village has lower literacy rate compared to West Bengal. In 2011, literacy rate of Ruknibera village was 71.03 % compared to 76.26 % of West Bengal. In Ruknibera Male literacy stands at 82.86 % while female literacy rate was 58.20 %.

As per constitution of India and Panchyati Raaj Act, Ruknibera village is administrated by Sarpanch (Head of Village) who is elected representative of village. [2]
