Robin Lambaria is an American writer/producer/director was was born in San Antonio Texas and raised south in the country of South Texas. Her mother Florinda Lambaria is a poet/songwriter/actress who's stage name is "Flo Fontana". Her grandfather "Roy Martinez" was a musician actor and well. Coming from a creative family she began acting at a very young age. She moved into photography and screenwriting in her early 20's and began to pursue a career on the other side of the camera. With a mission to fully understand the craft, she has now worked or been a key in every dept on set, as well as if set as a casting director. As a producer, she has collaborated with filmmakers in the US, Europe and Asia. She produced Academy Award nominee Luke Davies( Lion, News of the World debut film AIR featuring Academy Award Winning actor Andrew Garfield Tick, Tick... Boom! (film) , Spider Man in his American debut. Also Porvenir Texas, a documentary about a gruesome border massacre in 1918 that won an Emmy. She has participated in prestigious co-production labs, L'Atelier at Cannes Film Festival and Venice Production Bridge at the Venice Film Festival. Lambaria has also produced and art-directed music video for Grammy Award-winning artists Thievery Corporation, Whitney, Hamilton Leithauser, Angel Olsen.

In 2007 she created the Marfa Film Festival in Marfa, Texas and has served as its CEO, President, Executive Director and sole programmer since its conception. The festival has been named one of the top 10 destination festivals in the world by Filmmaker and Paste Magazine. She has additionally served as the Director of Programming for the Santa Fe Film Festival and screened international narrative features for the Sundance Film Festival. A multi-discipline artist, she continues to work in photography, screenwriting, directing, fashion and design.
