Ramūnas Stanionis, born in Marijampolė ( Lithuania) is a diplomat and EU public servant. Since 2019, he is a policy advisor to the Member of European Parliament (MEP) Andrius Kubilius.

From 1999 to 2003, he worked at the governmental office for Lithuania’s European integration (European Committee) and was involved in Lithuania's EU accession process. He led the strategy unit for EU accession and regular reporting. From 2003 onwards, he was an EU advisor in Lithuania’s MFA. From 2006 to 2010 – counsellor at Lithuania's Permanent Representation to the EU.

In 2011 to 2012, Ramūnas Stanionis was director of policy analysis and reforms department in the government of the Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius. From 2013 to 2016, he was managing partner at Estep Consultancy and between 2016 and 2019 – served as an advisor for Eastern Partnership at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Lithuania.
