After completing her degree, Steed-Middleton started her career at BMO Financial Group, working in Corporate Sponsorships. She later moved to London and joined Profero (now MullenLowe Profero) as a digital marketing Account Executive. Steed-Middleton also served as the Social Media Strategist at Leo Burnett London for over two years. [ citation needed]
In 2012, she returned to Toronto and joined Anomaly, an advertising agency, as a Digital and Communications Strategist. [3]
Steed-Middleton founded String Ting in March 2020 in Peckham, southeast London, as a response to the first wave of the COVID pandemic. [4] [5] [6]
She is married to Leigh Steed-Middleton and is the mother of three children. [2]
