The company raised $30 million in 2023. [3] [4] This money went towards developing a "new device to eventually replace phones". [5] [6]
The company showcased their first product, rabbit r1, on January 9, 2024, and quickly sold out initial batches. [7] [8] The r1 is a device similar to Humane's Ai Pin. It uses artificial intelligence to complete tasks on the user's behalf using what rabbit refers to as a large action model (LAM).
