Kubasari is a Georgian politician of the 2nd half of the 12th century, “raised” at the royal court, Christianized “Nakivchagari”. During the rebellion of Prince Demna (Dmitry), Kubasar with a detachment of kivchagov sided with George III and made a significant contribution to the victory of the king, for which he received the titles of Amirspasalar and Mandaturtukhutse. He also owned part of the estates confiscated from the rebels, including the estate of Ivane Orbeli Nakoni Lore. Immediately after the accession of Tamar, at the request of the feudal lords oppressed by George III, the king was forced to deprive the sick Kubasari of his sleeves and knowledge.
