Polly Pocket is an upcoming American comedy film, based on the toy brand of the same name created by Mattel.
It was announced in June 2021 that a film based on the toy brand was in development at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, with Lily Collins set to star in the title role and Lena Dunham directing and writing the film. [1] After the financial success of their Barbie film, Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz iterated the company's goal to produce films based off their other intellectual properties, with Dunham's version of Polly Pocket still in development. [2] In July 2024, Dunham announced she was no longer working on the project. [3]
