The Piano Island Festival is a Singaporean festival of classical music which takes place annually in various destinations, notably on the French Island Reunion and Singapore. The festival began in 2018 and features music for piano, whether as a solo instrument or as part of a chamber music ensemble.
The festival was founded by the concert pianist Congyu Wang in 2018. [1] The first edition took place in Singapore at the Chinese Cultural Center in January 2018. [2] [3]
The festival encompasses a wide repertoire ranging from the baroque period to the twenty-first century.
Among the other artists who have played at the festival are Pascal Roge, Philippe Cassard, Jean Marc Luisada, Dang Thai Son, Kevin Kenner, Eliane Reyes, Hayato Sumino. [4]
