Michael Tomlinson, known by his stage name MF Tomlinson is an Australian singer-songwriter, currently residing in London. He initially came to the Australian public's attention as the lead singer in indie rock band Yves Klein Blue. Following the disbandment of Yves Klein Blue in 2010, he moved to London and went on to form the band Many Things. [1] (aka MT [2]) in 2013.
Since 2019, Tomlinson has been releasing music under his MF Tomlinson moniker [3].
MF Tomlinson released his debut single "Nature Boy" in 2019 [3], and has since released one EP - 'Last Days Of Rome' in 2020 [1] and two full length albums - Strange Time in 2021 [4] and its follow up We Are Still Wild Horses in February 2023 via PRAH Recordings [5].
Strange Time
MF Tomlinson announced his debut full length album on 1st December 2020 [6] with the releases of its title track "Strange Time" and an accompanying music video directed by Tomas Jefanovas [7]. The album was released independently on 6th April 2021 [8].
We Are Still Wild Horses
In July 2022, Tomlinson announced his signing to PRAH Recordings and released new single "A Cloud", the first new music to be heard since the release of Strange Time [9]. In September later that year Tomlinson would go on to announce his second album We Are Still Wild Horses [10].
