Biography

Early life

Md. Robiul Azam was born on 25th May, 1990 at Madhukhali in Faridpur district, Bangladesh. His father, Mr. Md. Azizur Rahman, is the Vice President of Bangabandhu Parishad, Madhukhali upazila.

Md. Robiul Azam completed his diploma in Electronics technology Engineering from National Polytechnic Institute, Faridpur in 2010 and then completed his B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology (ADUST) in 2014. His career started as an Assistant Engineer in Hamid Fabrics Limited, Mahin group and later he started working as a Sub Assistant Engineer (SAE) in Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI), a government institution for the development of rice variants. He is currently living in Gazipur, Bangladesh.


Philosophical and political views

He is known to work with utmost dedication towards a better Bangladesh. He has helped a total of 23 people to find jobs in engineering and administration sectors and get established, worked on the socio-economic development of the fishermen, and is working towards the human rights of grassroot people of Bangladesh. He is also known as an active worker towards the ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation.


Honours, decorations, awards and distinctions

He is renowned as a social worker as he has worked and is still continuing to work with many national and international social institutions. He is currently the Secretary of Education at Bangladesh Fishtraders and Fisherman Federation. He is also an Advisor at Dr. Bodruddoza Science club and the Social Welfare Secretary of Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB), Gazipur district executive committee. He is also a member at Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation.
