Mari Esabel Valverde (b. 1987) is a Transgender Mexican-American classical composer, educator, and singer.

Born and raised in North Texas, Valverde is best known for her choral, chamber, and vocal compositions. She holds degrees from St. Olaf College ( B.M.), the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (M.M.), and the European American Musical Alliance in Paris, France.
