Jim Ellis (October 28, 1928 - April 10, 2017) was a politician in California. His wife Carol Bentley Ellis also served in government. He was a veteran. [1]

He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the Navy from 1940 to 1970, [2] including three tours in Vietnam. He served as an aviator in Vought F-8 Crusaders. [1]
