Born in Pico Rivera, California, she got her degree from Art Center College of Design. Jeaneen's art shows powerful women on a journey of self-discovery and love, surrounded by colorful and imaginative scenes. She wants to inspire people to face their fears and past hurts, helping them heal and become their true selves.
Jeaneen Carlino chose to work at Trader Joe's after finding the path to becoming a gallery artist was more challenging than expected. Her time there enabled her to acquire valuable skills and experiences. While working at Trader Joe's, she became skilled in handwriting, mural painting, and chalkboard art, which helped her in marketing products and enhancing her various artistic abilities. She has taken part in local gallery art exhibitions since 2006. Many galleries, such asThinkspace Gallery, La Luz de Jesus Gallery, SPARC LA Artcenter, Avenue 50 Studio Gallery, and Self Help Graphics & Art Gallery, have displayed her work. With this passion, she wanted to pursue a diploma at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She earned her diploma in 2007, and ever since then, her curiosity for exploring artistic concepts has continued to evolve with her devotion.
Jeaneen Carlino's art is all about celebrating different cultures, like her American Mexican roots and Native cultures. She paints strong, spiritual women who send a meaningful message by combining diverse cultural ideas. Her main theme is about discovering and loving yourself, turning tough times into personal victories. The women in her art represent people working on their emotional well-being and growth. She uses various materials in her acrylic paintings, like spray paint and colored pencils, creating cool patterns and shapes. Her art, inspired by both heavenly and everyday things, is meant to spread joy and strength, lifting up anyone who sees it. Jeaneen wants her art to help people face their tough times and heal completely.
