J. Fred Jones (January 12, 1907 – March 5, 1991) [1] was a justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court from 1967 to 1977.
Born in Mount Ida, Arkansas. [1]
Jones graduated from Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas Law School. He was elected to be a State Representative in 1934 where he served until 1940. Jones was Little Rock's first traffic judge. He was elected to be an Associate Justice in 1966 where he served until 1977 when he retired. [1]
