HyperCO2emia describes the condition where excessive CO2e (CO2 equivalent) emission is observed in a process / system. It was first introduced by NetZeroHealth Hub.(1)

In humans, the equivalent condition is ' hypercapnia' or 'hypercarbia', where too much CO2 is observed in their blood stream. Hypercarbia can cause a wide range of symptoms, such as breathlessness, dizziness or fatigue. (2)
