Horizon is an upcoming American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama television series developed by Steve Blackman. Based on the video game franchise developed by Guerrilla Games, it is set to air on Netflix.
On May 26, 2022, it was announced that a television series based on Horizon, a video game series by Sony Interactive Entertainment, was in production by Sony Pictures Television. [2] On August 25, it was announced that Steve Blackman would serve as showrunner and executive producer of the series. [3] In April 2023, PlayStation Productions head Asad Qizilbash stated that the "same care and formula" that was done with The Last of Us, will be applied to Horizon. [4]
By January 2024, writing was underway on the series. [5]
The series will be released on Netflix. [2]
