The Boating Industry Association recognised GoBoat's commitment to sustainable boating in 2023, awarding them the inagural Sustainability in the Boating Industry award at the Sydney International Boat Show. [17] In presenting the award, the BIA said that "...[t]heir dedication to sustainability is evident across all aspects of their operations from design and construction, to 100% electric propulsion solutions and activation as hire and drive."
