GEG 2023

The Global Esports Games, commonly known as GEG, is a International esports tournament for various games, like Dota 2, eFootball, and Street Fighter V that held annually. Dota 2 tournament in GEG has started since its first edition, in 2021. The tournament consist of different national teams from Americas, Asia (split into Asia-Pacific and Middle East in 2022; Asia and Asia-Europe ( CIS) in 2023), and Europe since 2021, Africa and Oceania since 2023. The women tournament started since 2022 edition.

History

GEG 2021

Only for men event. Consist of 4 Teams: Singapore as venue host, Brazil from Americas Qualifier, Mongolia from Asia Qualifier, and United Kingdom from Europe Qualifier. In the semifinals, Singapore faced United Kingdom with a score 2–0, and Brazil faced Mongolia with a score 2–1. In the next match, Mongolia managed to beat United Kingdom with 2–1 to secure third place. Brazil became the GEG 2021 champion after won against Singapore in the final match with a score 2–1.

GEG 2022

Men event became known as Open Event. Women's Event introduced.

GEG 2023

Saudi Arabia host the GEG 2023.
