Foundamental is a global venture capital firm. It was founded in 2018 and manages $150 million in capital commitments as of 2022. Foundamental focuses on venture investments in B2B technology sectors, including construction, 3D and computer-aided design, renovation, workforce, robotics, and supply chains and logistics. Foundamental was early investor in Infra.Market, last valued at $2.5 billion in May 2024. ^[1]

Foundamental was formed in 2018 and closed its first early-stage fund capitalized at $65 million in 2019. ^{[2] [3]} The firm closed its second early-stage fund capitalized at $85 million in 2022, ^{[3] [4] [5]} bringing its total capital commitments above $150 million as of 2022. ^[6]

Foundamental focuses on five B2B verticals: Construction, 3D and computer-aided design, renovation, blue-collar workforce and robotics, and supply chains and logistics. ^[7]

Foundamental stated its portfolio firms had raised equity-capital of $2.1 billion, and the firm had completed 128 investments ^[28] (2022: 61 investments ^[2]) in 22 countries globally. ^[29]
