Tara started her YouTube channel, from which she became famous, where she posted vlogs and videos with her friends in 2019 [5] while still being in high school. [6] Youtubers such as Jenna Marbles and Our2ndLife inspired her to pursue a career in the platform. [7]
In May 2022, inspired by Maz Jobrani and Max Amini, [8] she started her stand-up comedy career as she though she has a talent on it by having a sold out show in Flappers Comedy Club. [9] Seeing the success of her first show she went on tour in 2023 across the United States [7], known as "Selling Myself Short Tour".
In 2024, she made her singing debut remixing 6arelyhuman's song, "Faster n Harder" which has become widely known on TikTok. [10] She also joined Zach Justice and Jared Bailey for a number of episodes on the podcast "Dropouts" where they talk about their everyday lives. [11] The same year she was was chosen as one of the muses in Marc Jacobs's Y2k collection Heaven offering a grunge and Tumblr-era look. [4] [5] She also appeared in Miami for Hugo Boss in the Miami Grand Prix to support the brand's new collection and also be used as a vessel to attract younger audiences. Tara was born in Maryland [9] and raised in Los Angeles where she still lives [5] [6]. Her parents came to America as immigrants from Iran. [17]
She was dating famous YouTuber Jake Webber with whom collaborated on a lot of videos since they start of their relationship but called it quits in 2023, after five years together. [2]
