The film is based on a series of children's books of the same name published by the Belgian author and illustrator Gabrielle Vincent. The film is a sequel to the 2012 film Ernest & Celestine. [1]

Announced in 2017, the film was released by StudioCanal on December 14, 2022. The film was released in the United States in 2023 by GKIDS.

Synopsis

Ernest and Celestine return to Ernest's country to have his broken violin repaired. They discover that music is banned throughout the country. They will attempt to right this injustice in order to bring joy back to bear country. [2]
