Schrader was previously a columnist in the Jerusalem Post, and currently works for Ynet News and ILTV News as the host of the show Viewpoint [5]. She is also the a co-host of The Quad on JNS. [6] She is known internationally for her human rights work related to Iran. [7]
In 2023, Schrader was named as one of the 18 American Zionist Women You Should Know by Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization, [8] and she was named by Algemeiner as one of the 100 People Positively Influencing Jewish Life in 2022. [9]
Schrader studied at the University of Southern California, majoring in political science, and obtained her Master's degree at Tel Aviv University in political communications, [1] graduating Magna Cum Laude (2014). Schrader made aliyah to Israel in 2015. [10]
Schrader began her career in 2010 as a speaker and writer, and began working as a reporter and contributor to various media outlets, including The Jerusalem Post, The Forward, Washington Post, NBC News and others. [11] [12] [13] She is also a frequent commentator on Middle Eastern affairs in English, Arabic [14] and Persian [15] [16] [17] [18]
In 2011, she began serving as the digital director of the pro-Israel educational organization, StandWithUs, where she brought the organization to over a million followers in 18 languages. [19]
In 2019, Schrader founded Social Lite Creative, a digital marketing and consulting company focused on politics and activism. [20]
Throughout her career, Schrader has been outspoken about women’s rights and advancement in Israel and in the Middle East. [21] Schrader is a prominent voice from Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran and in favor of Israeli-Iranian civil relations. [22] [7] [23] Schrader has previously been targeted by the Islamic Republic of Iran itself for her activism and support of Iranian women. [24] [25]
Schrader has repeatedly condemned the Islamic Republic of Iran for gender apartheid [26], and has called for the proscription of the IRGC as a terrorist organization in Europe, for sanctions enforcement on Iran, and for regime change in Iran. [1] [27]
Schrader is also an activist in the campaign for social networks to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism [28] [29], and has spoken in the Israeli parliament (Knesset), US Congress, and the EU Parliament on the issue. [2]
