Elizabeth Crane is an American author.

She is the author of the novels We Only Know So Much [1] and The History of Great Things, [2] and three collections of short stories. Her stories have been featured on NPR’s Selected Shorts. [3] She is a recipient of the Chicago Public Library 21st Century Award, [4] and her work has been adapted for the stage by Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company. [5] A feature film adaptation of We Only Know So Much will be released in 2016. [6] She teaches in the UCR-Palm Desert low-residency MFA program. [7]
