Dean C. Tellone is an American business executive. He is the founder, president, and chief executive officer (CEO) of Tellone Management Group since 1987. [1] [2] [3]

Early life and education

Tellone was born in 1949 in Inglewood, California. [2] He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1971. [4] [2] He later obtained an MBA from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, in 1987. [4] [2]

Tellone's professional qualifications include passing the Series 2 - Non-Member General Securities Exam in 1985 and obtaining the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1988. [4] [2] He became an Enrolled Agent (EA) in April 1991, after fulfilling the necessary requirements and examinations. [4] [2]

Career

Tellone began his professional career at Teledyne in Century City, California. [5] He spent twelve years at Teledyne, gaining experience and progressing through various positions. [5]

In 1975, Tellone founded Tellone Financial Services in Anaheim Hills, California. [2] The company later expanded and evolved under his leadership. [2] The company, which started with two employees, provides services in areas such as estate planning, retirement planning, taxes, and accounting. [5] Over the years, Tellone Financial Services has expanded its operations. [5] It currently manages substantial assets in pre-mortgage funds and has been involved in the direct mortgage and private lending business for over four decades. [5]

In 1987, he founded Tellone Management Group, Inc., in Anaheim Hills, California, and has served as its President and CEO since its establishment. [2] In 2014, CNBC listed Tellone Management Group among the top hundred fee-only management firms. [6] [7]
