Bryan McKernan Master (born June 27, 1977) is an American Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist, Songwriter and Audio/Content-Producer. His music has been included in a number of TV shows and audio series. While he spent the first decade of his career performing/touring/recording in bands and as a singer-songwriter, since 2011, he has pivoted to a more behind-the-scenes musical role as a composer, producer, content developer, artist manager and business owner. As an entrepreneur, he is founder/owner of music, audio-production & creative services house SOUND+FISSION, as well as co-founder of New York-based entertainment and production company, PB&J Productions... [1].
Bryan started his career in New York City in 1999, after graduating from Fordham University, in the Bronx. While in Los Angeles, Bryan formed songwriting-duo Master McCarthy with Mike McCarthy and recorded an album produced by Niko Bolas and Steve Perry of Journey, featuring studio greats Waddy Wachtel, Charlie Drayton and Bob Glaub. The album was never released and after the dissolution of Master McCarthy, Bryan returned to his solo career, teaming up with Producer Evan Frankfort to record his third and final record, For People Like Us [6], released on his own Bonavox Records in 2011. The album would feature a duet with Liz Phair [7] and musicianship of Jonny Polonsky, Jordan Zevon, Rami Jaffee, Chuck Fay, Jessy Greene, Don McCloskey, Shaun Hague, Luke Adams and Pete Yorn's entire backing band. During this period, the video for his single "Let Me Come In (feat. Liz Phair)" was featured in outlets like Consequence of Sound [8] and Complex [9]; he performed at world-renowned West Hollywood venue The Troubadour; did an in-studio interview/performance on 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia's Preston & Steve Show [10]; was a featured artist on Billboard's Underground Artist series [11]; was the runner-up in local Star 98.7 FM 'Rock Star' record-deal contest; and performed his last solo show at a sold-out El Rey in Los Angeles, opening for Manchester Orchestra [12]
Bryan founded music and production house SOUND+FISSION in 2012 and has been composing theme songs, instrumental score and other music for a variety of TV shows, film and audio series. From 2015 to 2017, he worked in pre-production with long-time friend Rob McElhenney, from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, as part of the composing team on Warner Brothers' Minecraft Movie, while McElhenney was attached as writer/director.
Since, 2019 he and SOUND+FISSION have become a leading production source for scripted immersive audio fiction, having produced more than a dozen Audible Original series for Audible. In addition to Executive Producing, he has composed the score for Audible shows including 64th Man [13], Excessive [14], Motivated! [15], and Daniel X [16]and The Method [17], across the James Patterson slate, in partnership with Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video.

On June 1, 2023, Spin.com announced that the show would be co-Executive Produced and narrated by Chuck D of Public Enemy and will be available on Audible August 10, 2023 [18]. Bryan co-Executive Produced, co-wrote, edited and composed/performed the score for the series [19]
