Katherina Borve established Kat is Brassy AS in 2016. [2] [3] aiming to provide a comfortable and supportive alternative to traditional bras due to bra mishap at her own wedding in 2012. After launch the product quickly gained popularity due to its unique design and effectiveness for a larger bust. In 2018, a video was posted to Facebook showing the functionality of Brassybra went viral, rocketing their popularity and foothold in the adhesive bra market. Due to that increased popularity, Katherina Borve saw that going global was the next step and founded Brassy Inc. in Florida USA in 2019.
Brassybra is made from a breathable and hypoallergenic adhesive fabric that adheres to the skin, providing lift and support. The product consists of 97% cotton and 3% Spandex. [4] It is available in various sizes and colors to cater to a wide range of consumers.
