BLDO Office or Block Livestock Development Office, Ketugram-II, Purba Bardhaman is situated in Gangatikuri Gram Panchyayet in Ketugram-II development Block of Purba Bardhaman District, West Bengal. It is located in a separate building within the BDO office campus of Ketugram -II Development Block. It is the apex institute of animal and bird related issues within the Ketugram-II Block. BLDO Office is an administrative office. It has many branches or units like BAHC ,MVU, ADACs which are also located within the block. BAHC, Gangatikuri or Block Animal Health Centre, Gangatikuri is responsible for animal health related issues. It has an outdoor hospital unit which offers treatment for pet and domestic animals and birds. It is open for public and patients from Monday to Saturday and fully closed on Sunday and Government holidays.
MVU stands for Mobile Veterinary Unit. It provides doorstep service to the farmer. It provides free on call service for the ailing animals and birds. Toll free number for on call facility is 1962. It also organize free health camps in different villages or mouzas within the block.
ADAC stands for Animal Development Aid Centres. They are located in the respective GP offices of the block. They provide basic treatment and AI facilities.
There are also some self employed persons who works under BLDO office. They persons are named as Pranibondhu, Pranimitra, Pranisebi, Maitri, other AI (Artificial Insemination) worker as per their contract. They work in their respective villages. They are responsible for artificial insemination of cattle and buffalo, disease control vaccination programmes, primary preliminary treatment and first aid, and different types of survey works related to animal and birds.
BLDO office distribute heifer, goat, sheep, pig, chick, duckling, fodder minikit/seed etc. from time to time for upliftment of lifestyle of needy, poor and weaker section of the society and to alleviate poverty and sufferings of the needy and poor people of the block in consultation with the Panchcayet Samity.

BLDO office keep close liaisons with Deputy Director, Animal Resources Development Department, Purba Bardhaman; Ketugram-II Panchayet Samity; Savapati, Ketugram-II Block; Matsyo-O-Pranisampad Karmadakshya, Ketugram-II Block; Block Development Officer, Ketugram-II; Block Disaster Managent Officer, Fishery Extension Officer, Assistant Director of Agriculture, Block Medical Officer of Health, Branch Managers of different Govt. & Co-operative Banks, Officer-In-Charge of Ketugram Police Station etc. BLDO office also supply medicine, vaccine, AI accessories, equipments & surgicals etc. to its branches.
