Alec Deckers (born 2 May 2000) is a Dutch tennis player. [1]
Deckers is coached for part of the year by his father, Richard Krajicek. [2] In late 2021, Deckers won his first professional tennis tournament. He won two more the following year. [3] In 2022, he reached the semi-finals of the Dutch national championships in Amstelveen, where he lost to eventual champion Botic van de Zandschulp. [4] In 2022, he trained with the Dutch Davis Cup team. [5]
From Muiderberg, [6] he is the son of former tennis professional Richard Krajicek and model Daphne Deckers. [7] He has one sister. They were brought up with his mother's surname to provide a greater anonymity. [8]
