Al Thanyah (Arabic:الثنيه) is a community of the Emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates . It is located in the Sector 3 in western Dubai.
The territory of the community occupies an area of 26.8 km2 [1] in central Dubai.
Al Thanyah is divided into five communities:
The area is bounded by Sheikh Zayed Road to the north, Hessa Street (D 61) to the east, Al Khail Road (E 44) and Orchid Road to the south, and Garn Al Sabkha Street to the west. [2]
This neighborhood tends to be residential and also quite densely populated, with the exception of the Al Thanyah Second community, which is almost entirely occupied by the Jebel Ali Race Course.
The community of Barsha Heights (Al Thanyah First) combines commercial and residential buildings, mainly consisting of skyscrapers. The main landmarks of the area are: [3]
Emirates Hills Second (Al Thanyah Third) community is an upscale residential community consisting of villas surrounding golf courses and ponds. The main landmarks of the area are:
The community of Emirates Hills Third (Al Thanyah Fourth) is arranged around several artificial lakes and large green areas. The main points of reference are:
Emirates Hills First (Al Thanyah Fifth) community is one of the premier residential communities in Dubai. It is a self-sufficient community, with apartments, villas, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, parks and entertainment venues. It is divided into the following sub-communities:
The area is served by the Red Line of the Metro with the four stops at:
Then there are surface lines that from the aforementioned stops allow you to reach various areas of the community, even if the more internal areas are not well connected.
