Abdul Hameed Chockly, also known as Hameed Chockly, (born 1st June 1976), is an Indian businessman. He is the founder and managing director of Peruvallur Wood Industries, which owns the Peruvallur Furniture Palace and Yellow Furniture in Kerala. And also, he is the co-founder of Prestige Packs in the UAE. After the death of his father, Muhammed Haji Chockly, he became the chairman of Madina Supermarket and Groceries in KSA.
Abdul Hameed Chockly was born in a Muslim family in ( Parambilpeedika), Malappuram District, Kerala, on {1st June 1976}, to parents Muhammed Haji and Ummathakutty. He attended GHSS Peruvallur for his early education up to the 5th standard. He then continued his schooling and hostel life at MVM Higher Secondary School, Kokkur
In 2003, Hameed Chockly began his business ventures in Kerala by establishing a wood industry and a furniture shop in his native place, Parambilpeedika, Malappuram. His enterprise, Peruvallur Wood Industries, quickly became a notable name in the region
In 2008, Hameed expanded his business interests internationally by investing in Prestige Packs in the UAE, becoming its co-founder. He worked as a manager at Prestige Packs until 2024 .
In 2018, Hameed diversified his business portfolio by investing in real estate .
In 2021, following the death of his father, Muhammed Haji Chockly, Hameed became the chairman of Madina Supermarket and Groceries in KSA, continuing the family legacy .
In May 2024, Hameed further expanded his wooden furniture business under the name Yellow Furniture, opening new shops across Kerala .
Hameed Chockly married Ayisha KT in 1995 and has three children: two daughters and a son. His elder daughter, Asmila, is married to Nishan T, a civil engineer. His son, Mohammed Aseem, is currently pursuing an MBA and also he is Digital Marketing Head in Peruvallur Wood Industries. His second daughter, Ansina, is in the 9th standard
Hameed Chockly is very closely involved in many social, charitable, and humanitarian activities. Peruvallur Wood Industries donated to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund during the 2020 Kerala floods.
Hameed Chockly was the president of the Chokly Family Global Committee in 2022
