The 97th Street Tunnel, also called the "97th Street Portal", is a Metro-North Railroad tunnel connecting Grand Central Terminal to Harlem - 125th Street.

This tunnel is used currently by all 3 of Metro North's East-of-Hudson lines ( Harlem Line, New Haven Line and Hudson Line services), and previously by Amtrak's Empire Corridor as a temporary terminus, along with past usage by the New York Central Railroad.
