The list was first published by the magazine Business Ethics: The Magazine of Corporate Responsibility in 1996. [2] The 100 BCC list has been published on annual basis since the year 2000. [3] In 2007, management of the 100 BCC list was transferred to the CRO magazine, a newsletter targeting Corporate Responsibility Officers. [4] The periodical was later renamed as the Corporate Responsibility (CR) magazine and acquired by 3BL Media in 2017. [5]
