At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 5,895 in 1,310 households. [5] There were 6,199 inhabitants in 1,711 households in the following census of 2011. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 5,365 in 1,500 households. The most populous of its 13 villages was Dowlatabad, with 1,587 people. [2]
