Dowlatabad ( Persian: دولتاباد) [a] is a village in Esfandaqeh Rural District of Esfandaqeh District, Jiroft County, Kerman province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district [4] and the rural district. [5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,200 in 460 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 5,534 people in 1,283 households. [7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,930 people in 1,387 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
