Cosmo Lombino, also known as the Queen of Melrose, is an American stylist, fashion designer, entrepreneur and internet personality. [2] She [a] has personally styled celebrities and is known for her three boutiques on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California. [4] [5]
Lombino grew up in Harlem, New York, as the son of a mobster. [6] Lombino's family moved to Encino, Los Angeles after her father was affiliated with the 1978 Lufthansa heist. [7] [8]
In the 1980s, Lombino began working as a stylist at a clothing store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California. [9] The store was frequented by celebrities such as Madonna. [10] [11] Lombino also worked as a drag queen on Santa Monica Boulevard alongside RuPaul. [12] In 2010, Lombino opened her own boutique, Cosmo's Glamsquad, on Melrose Avenue. She has since opened two additional boutiques on the same street: Cosmo & Donato, and Shoe Whore.
