The Coastal Volcanic Belt (CVB) is a major Late Silurian volcanic belt extending from Massachusetts, United States, into southwestern New Brunswick, Canada. It is one of the largest bimodal volcanic provinces in world, ranging from basalts to rhyolites. [1]
