Clark Barnes (born September 3, 2000) is a Canadian football wide receiver for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played U Sports football at Guelph.

Early years

Barnes first played high school football at Clarkson Secondary School in Mississauga. [1]

University career

Barnes played U Sports football at Guelph from 2019 to 2022. [2] [3] [4] [5] The 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [6] [3]

Professional career

Barnes was selected by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in the third round, with the 24th overall pick, of the 2023 CFL Draft. [7] [1] [8] He signed with the team on May 5, 2023. [9] He played in nine games, all starts, in 2023, catching 25 passes for 234 yards and one touchdown before being placed on injured reserve on August 15, 2023. [9] [10] Barnes also returned 18 kickoffs for 379 yards and two missed field goals for 111 yards. [11]
