Chrononauts: Futureshock is a British time travel comic book limited series written by Mark Millar and illustrated by Eric Canete. Published by Image Comics, [3] the series is a sequel to Chrononaunts by Millar and Sean Murphy, set in the Millarworld. The series chronicles the continued adventures of NASA chrononauts (time-travellers) Corbin Quinn and Danny Reilly, as they attempt to access the future. [4] The series, its individual issues simultaneously published on October 30, 2019, [5] inspired by the television release model of Millarworld parent company Netflix, [6] and collectively as a graphic novel on March 18, 2020, [7] was followed by Big Game in 2023, [8] and will be republished as an omnibus by Dark Horse Comics in 2024. [9]
Time-traveling physicists and world-famous NASA chrononauts Corbin Quinn and Danny Reilly have conquered the past, but find themselves unable to even attempt to conquer the future. [10] After a failed test of their newest time machine—The Timehawk—the duo realise their actions are being hindered by their old Professor Cross and classmate Bronwyn Moir, the true inventors of time travel, who now immortal, have been ruling the past from the future for millennia.
