ChileâLibya relations are the bilateral relations between Republic of Chile and Libya. The two countries are members of the Group of 77 and the United Nations.
Both countries established diplomatic relations on 20 May 1971. [1]
A year later, the Chilean ambassador to Egypt presented credentials in Tripoli, while Libya accredited its ambassador to Venezuela as concurrent in Santiago, who remained in that capacity until 1977. [2]
In 2010 , the trade between the countries amounted to 3.8 million dollars. [3]
Las relaciones diplomĂĄticas entre ambos paĂses se establecieron el 20 de mayo de 1971, en el seno de Naciones Unidas. Un año mĂĄs tarde, el embajador chileno en Egipto presentĂł cartas credenciales en TrĂpoli, mientras Libia acreditĂł como concurrente en Santiago a su embajador en Venezuela, quien se mantuvo en dicha calidad hasta 1977.
