Charles Trout (born 20 April 1985) is an English football manager and former footballer who manages the Puerto Rico national football team.

Early life

Trout was born to a builder father and a waitress mother. [1]

Education

Trout attended University of Illinois Chicago in the United States, where he was regarded as one of the soccer team's most important players. [2]

Playing career

Trout played for English side Lincoln City.

Managerial career

Trout managed the Puerto Rico national football team, where he was described "the Puerto Rican team fully complied in a disciplined manner with the tactical disposition established by coach Charlie Trout. This allowed the team to be an aggressive one that knew what was at stake and made no mean effort on the field". [3]

Style of play

Trout mainly operated as a midfielder.
