Lyons was signed by the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2015. [1] He was waived on September 5, 2015. [2]
Lyons was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 6, 2015. [3] He was released on September 30 and then re-signed to the practice squad on October 2. [4] On January 19, Lyons signed a futures contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. [5]
On September 3, 2016, Lyons was released by the Steelers as part of final roster cuts. [6] The next day he was signed to the Steelers' practice squad. [7]
