I must stress the difference between "patricius" as a social status and "patricius" as title; therefore, I think there is no need to unify the two categories. --

Certainly, the two meanings are separate. However, AFAIK, the 'Category:Roman patricians" is not about the patrician class, but the people awarded the title of patricius. It says so right on top: "Holders of the late empire office of patrician." Therefore one of the two must go, or, better, let's keep one for the patrician class and one for the title holders. Which would you prefer?
