Sub-categorisation

I have moved the constituencies in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Wiltshire to sub-categories by county, which are also sub-catted in "Politics of Devon" etc. This seems neater that having a whole swathe of articles multiply categorised, particularly since the regional definitions in use are not as widely understood as the historic counties.

However, I have not created sub-categories for Gloucestershire or Somerset, because both of those historic counties overlap with the short-lived county of Avon and with what is now Greater Bristol. I'm sure that this could be achieved by multiple categorisation, but I'm, not familiar enough with the history of county and local authority boundaries in that area to attempt it myself ... but I'm sure it would be useful if someone else has the knowledge to undertake the job. -- BrownHairedGirl (talk) • ( contribs) 12:04, 28 March 2007 (UTC) reply
