The Mediant

The Mediant and the Generalized Mediant(Rational Mean) should be linked from this page because they are Means. -- anon

I put median in the category. However, we don't have an article called generalized median or rational mean, so I can't put that in the category. -- Jitse Niesen ( talk) 15:31, 30 December 2006 (UTC) reply

Consistency

I note that many of the mebers are this category are not consistently categorized, for instance some are in, say, Category:Statistical deviation and dispersion and others in Category:Summary statistics… Maybe they should be in none, and simply making Category:Means a member of either/both would be simplest? At a minimum, everything including center of mass is a summary statistic… -- Belg4mit 20:40, 1 August 2007 (UTC) reply
